Marvin Pearson (Ted) Hudson, 13 year resident of Bolivar, passed away in his home, Monday August 12th after a long illness. He leaves behind his wife, Cathy and five children; Jorge Padial Jr. of Memphis, TN, Kristin Carnes and Kathryn DesIlets of Portland, OR, David Padial of Jackson, TN and Robin Padial Goza of Memphis, TN. Ten grandchildren; Stephanie Krupicka of Lewiston, ID, Madison Padial, Meghan Padial, Isabella Goza, Savannah Cox of Memphis, TN, Tyler Coates of Jackson, TN, Emma Goza, Ava Goza, Grey Padial, Jackson, TN and Jorge Padial III of Memphis, TN. Six great-grandchildren; Amber Krupicka, Isaac Krupicka, Rylee Krupicka of Lewiston, ID, Landon Plunk of Memphis, TN, Brenna Krupicka and Piper Krupicka of Lewiston, ID.
Mr. Hudson was an Engineer with the Georgia Pacific Corp. in Atlanta and after his retirement moved to Bolivar. He was a Master Mason in Grand Lodge #369 of Gastonia, NC for period of 50 years. He was born in Gastonia, NC and a graduate of NC State University. His hobbies were wood-working and enjoying his grandchildren.
A private service will be held at home for the immediate family. Ted and Cathy would have celebrated their 25th anniversary this month. He was so loved and will be so missed.
