MARVIN ‘BUDDY’ RICHARDSON
Jackson, TN: Marvin Almus Richardson, Jr. age 76 passed away November 23, 2020 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born September 16, 1944 in Columbus, South Carolina the son of the late Marvin Almus and Mildred Louise Gainey Richardson. He grew up in Jacks Creek and attended schools in Chester County. He joined the U.S. Navy in March of 1962 and served 3 ½ years. He married Lois Boone Brooks on July 8, 1983. They made their home in Jackson. He was a plumber and carpenter, building houses.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and reading. He loved animals, especially his dogs and cats.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Lois Marie Boone Richardson of Jackson; stepmother, Betty Jo Richardson of Jacks Creek, TN.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Johnson Crossroads Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson's Crossroads 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday.
