Marvin Allen Roberts

Marvin Allen "Bud" Roberts, 80 found eternal peace on Sunday March 10, 2013. He was the companion of Camillia Littlefield of Adamsville TN, previously a resident of Selmer TN and Walnutport PA. Bud was stationed in Florida in the US Navy when he met and married his wife of 46 years M. Charlene (Pugh) Roberts who preceded him in death in 1999. He was born to Frank K and Florence G (Balliet) Roberts. After pursuing a career as a pharmaceutical representative he returned to Pennsylvania to become the "Son" in Frank K Roberts & Son Decorating. He was a member of American Legion, Shriners International the Hamasa Shriners of Meridian MS, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry of Corinth, MS, a Mason of lodge 338 of Adamsville, TN, and Order of the Eastern Star chapter 330 of Adamsville, TN. Survivors: Daughters - Marva A, wife of James Johnson of Allentown; Margie A, wife of Roland Bell Jr. of Bath; Marie A, wife of Matthew Bedics of Walnutport; Martie A, wife of Michael Telepo of Saylorsburg and son: Marcus A and wife Christina of Allentown. 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildern. Sisters: Marilyn, wife of Robert McIntyre of Quakertown; Cynthia M, wife of John Faust of Bethlehem, Vivian Y, wife of Marty Booze of Easton MD; Brother Walter F and wife Susan of Northampton. Many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 5:00 PM until the funeral service at 7:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville, Tennessee, with Elmer D. Seaton, Jai Templeton officiating. Followed by a Masonic service. Burial will take place in the Cedar Hill Memorial Park at Allentown, Pennsylvania.
