Mary Ann Murphy

Mary Ann Murphy, 50, of Oakland, passed from this life on Friday afternoon, September 11, 2020, at St. Frances Hospital in Bartlett, TN.

She was the daughter of the late Prentiss C. Pittman and Elsie Mae Matthews Pittman and born in Shelby County, TN. She lived most all of her life in the Oakland area of Fayette County. Pentecostal in belief, she was a homemaker all her life. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, television, talking to friends and family on her phone, riding around visiting, fishing, rabbits and her dog, "Toot".

She is survived by her son John Thomas Murphy and his wife, Tayelor, of Moscow, TN; her granddaughter, Kairi Murphy; her sister, Rose Pittman of Moscow; and her two brothers, Ronnie Cooper Pittman and Prentiss C. Pittman, both of Oakland, TN.
