Mary Sue Baker

Mrs. Mary Sue Baker of Jacksonville, FL, age 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. Baker was born in Fayette County, Tennessee and the daughter of the late Louis Eugene and Lockie Ann Oliver. She moved to the Jacksonville area in 1971 and worked for Sears. Mrs. Baker was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church and the Gideons International Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Beverly Louis Oliver; a sister, Dorothy Smith. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, George P. Baker; a son: Samuel “Sammie” Parsons (Michelle); and a grandson, Sammie Parsons, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Gideons International, Jacksonville NW, P.O.
