MARY RUTH BARTON BISHOP
was born in Adamsville, Tennessee on February 25, 1935 the daughter of the late Luther Perry and Eliza Irvin Barton.
On April 19, 1952 she was united in marriage to R. C. Bishop, who preceded his wife in death on March 15, 1982.
Mrs. Bishop was a machine operator for Brown Shoe Company for 40 years. She was a member of Crossroads Union Church. Mrs. Bishop loved to dance, fish and to be around people, and most all she loved spending time with her family.
She departed this life on October 15, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 20 days.
Mrs. Bishop is survived by her children, David L. Bishop and his wife Donna and Steven B. Bishop and his wife Rhonda, all of Savannah, Tennessee.

one sister, Dortha Barnes of Adamsville, Tennessee
Mrs. Bishop is also survived by two very special friends, Jeannette Wilson and Ida Mae Lockard.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Bishop and one sister, Betty Banks.
