Mary Lucile Boroughs
was born in Decatur, Tennessee on January 5, 1926 the daughter of the late William and Ada Ann Wallace Shelby.
On May 19, 1942 she was united in marriage to James Boroughs, who survives.
Mrs. Boroughs was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah.
She departed this life on October 31, 2005 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah.
Other than her husband, James of Savannah, she is survived by 2 daughters, Margaret Ann Schaaf of Indiana and Deborah Jean Sowell of Savannah, Tennessee.
4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild
Mrs. Boroughs was also preceded in death by one grandson, one sister and 2 brothers.
