Services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Larry Burnett and Jerry Flippo officiating. Burial will follow in Shields Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 14, 5:30--8:00 pm and on Monday, August 15, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Mrs. Brookshire departed this life on Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 7 Months, 3 Days. She was born January 10, 1935 in Wayne County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Grayford and Clarice Alberta Duren Morrison. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brookshire was preceded in death by husband; Gerald Wendell Brookshire;
brother, Joel Reece Morrison; sister, Margaret Morrison;
Mrs. Brookshire was a homemaker and a member of the Hometown Pentecostal Holiness Church , Memphis , TN.
She is survived by niece Jean Horton and nephew Billy Morrison both of Waynesboro; special friends Ronald and Sandra Burnett of Memphis.
