Mary E. Brown

Mrs. Brown passed away Friday, December 12, 2014, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native and long-time resident of Hardeman County, she was the daughter of the late H. H. and Mary Alice Cummings Garrett. She also had lived in Eva and Henry, TN. In 1953, she was united in marriage to Robert Henry Brown who died June 1, 1997. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working in the garden and with flowers. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Selmer.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Crowell of Toone; her son, Phil Jones of Arizona; her sister, Joyce Wilbanks of Pocahontas; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
