Mary Ann Crews

Mary Ann Brown Crews of Waynesboro, TN was born October 5, 1944 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Thomas Elvin and Mary Magdalene Farmer Brown. She was united in marriage to Joe Crews on March 17, 1962.



Mrs. Crews was a homemaker and had been a hairdresser, a school cafeteria worker, and a pharmacy technician. She was of the Baptist faith.



Mrs. Crews departed this life on Thursday, February 3, 2011 in an automobile accident in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 3 Months, 29 Days.



She is survived by her husband, Joe Crews of Waynesboro, TN; a son, Stephen Crews and wife, Linda of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Stephanie Crews Weeks and husband, Alton of Corinth, MS; a granddaughter, Terra Weeks; a step-grandson, Taner Swinea; a sister, Linda Kay Brown Jones and husband, Robert of Waynesboro, TN; a half-brother, Darrell Brown of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crews was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Boyd Brown.



Services will be on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cary Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors directing. Pallbearers will be Lance Nutt, Butch Nutt, Brian McManus, Doug Crews, David Wigginton, Jason Ray, Michael Ray, and Jay Shelton. Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
