MARY RANDOLPH CURTIS

Mary Randolph Curtis, age 78, went to be with her Heavenly father on February 4, 2026.

Mary grew up in the Jacks Creek Community, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Maggie Scott Randolph.

She graduated from Chester County High School in 1965 and attended Freed Hardeman University.

She moved to Nashville in 1970 where she met and married her best friend, Johnny Curtis.

Mary loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, Vanderbilt University and the Tennessee Titians.

She worked at TN State University and Vanderbilt University in student accounts.

Mary moved back to Henderson in 1990 to take care of her dad. He passed on October 13, 1992.

She moved back to Nashville for several years but decided to come back “home” to Chester County in 2022.

She attended the Church of Christ and had many friends.

Mary leaves behind a sister, Linda Rodgers and a nephew, Johnny Allen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Johnny Curtis as well as a step daughter, Lou Connor.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday February 11, 2026, at Shackelford Funeral Directors - Crook Avenue Chapel with burial at Swanson Cemetery 203 S. Horton Pkwy. Chapel Hill, TN 37034 at 3:00 PM.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM service time.
