MARY MAXINE HOPPER
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 6, 1946 the daughter of the late Clarence and Lula Duff McClain.
On December 4, 1965 she was united in marriage to John Louis (JD) Hopper, who preceded his wife in death on December 1, 2008.
Mary retired from Walmart where she worked as a door greeter. In her spare time she loved to fish. Mary's life revolved around her children and grandchildren.
She departed this life on July 24, 2020 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 18 days.
Mary is survived by her children, Sandra Williams and Debbie Silliman,both of Savannah, Tennessee; stepsons, Billy Hopper and Stevie Hopper, both of Savannah, Tennessee; six grandchildren and three step grandchildren; sister, Janice Briley of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee; brother, Danny McClain of Savannah, Tennessee; her niece by birth, daughter at heart, Becky Nguyen of Savannah, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
