Mary Ann Dickey Jackson

Mary Ann Dickey Jackson , Iron City, TN was born June 13, 1939 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Clint McKinley and Ada Daniel Dickey. She married Charles Leo Jackson December 22, 1956 and he preceded her in death February 24, 2011. Retired from Angelica, she was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and departed this life Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 2 Months, 27 Days.

Survivors, son, Rickey Jackson, wife, Darlene of Iron City, TN; daughters, Pamela Jackson Morris, companion, Bill Moore of Loretto, TN, Mary Beth Holt,husband, John of Iron City, TN; grandchildren, Bradley Jackson (Natosha), Candice Thompson (Justin), Whitney Jackson, Christopher Morris (Sara), Miranda Farmer (Bobby), Jamie Keener, Ada Louise Holt; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Alivia and Avree Jackson, Landon and Araya Thompson, Taylor, Katie-Lee, Addie-Lin and Finley Morris, Dylan and Jayla Farmer and Jacob and Jevin Keener; sister, Jean Nutt of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by a son, Randy Eugene Jackson; brothers, Charles, Fred, James, Jerry Dickey; sisters, Wanda Robertson, Ruby Fortner Short.

Services will Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Edward Burbank officiating. Burial will be in Butler Grove Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Jackson, Justin Thompson, Christopher Morris, Dylan Farmer, Jacob Keener and Taylor Morris with Landon Thompson Brayden Jackson, Jevin Keener, Finley Morris and Bobby Farmer as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be Monday, September 11, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 8 and Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
