Mary Opal Hill Kelley

Mrs. Opal Hill Kelley departed this life on Friday, June 10, 2016 at her residence in Iron City, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 4 Months, 3 Days. She was born February 7, 1926 in Florence, AL the daughter of the late Vernon Hill and Leona Sharp Hill Burgess.

She was united in marriage to Vinson Kelley, he preceded her in death on November 9, 2008. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Diane Kelley, a son, Donnie Ray Cobb, two grandchildren, Richard Cobb and Joey Cobb.

Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Alstadt, a son, Paul Kelley both of Iron City, TN, six grandchildren, Michael Richardson, Candy Kelley, Brittany Underwood, Alex Kelley, Donnie Cobb and Monty Cobb, great grandchildren, Seth Richardson, Cade Richardson, Vinson Underwood and Skylar Gray Underwood.

Services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bobby Rich and James Paul Nobles officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 11:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN.

Pallbearers will be Gary Kelley, Randy Wallace, Larry Staggs, Ray Steele, Dan Keener and Revin Easterday.
