Mary J. LoPorto was born on February 2, 1943 in Ripley, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Elsie O. Tuberville Durbin.
Mary formerly worked at Brooks Grocery in Adamsville, Tennessee, Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville, Tennessee, and Federal Savings & Loan in Memphis, Tennessee. In her younger years, Mary was her mother's caregiver. She loved her family and spending time with them. Mary loved to dance and play the board game "Aggravation" with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
Mary J. LoPorto departed this life on March 8, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 6 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Beck; grandchildren, Marissa Dicus, Jessica Reaves, Nicholas LoPorto, Josh LoPorto, Robert C. Blaylock, Makayla Holt, Devon LoPorto, and Reesi LoPorto; and great grandchildren, Emma LoPorto, Ava Cromwell, Sophie Cromwell, Stetson Holt, Haisley LoPorto, Hunter Reaves, Amara Reaves, and Ayla White.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sons, Nicholas E. LoPorto and Jeffery W. LoPorto; sisters, Evelyn Pearson, Marie English, and Christine Bowen; and brothers, Charles Durbin, Billy Durbin, Bobby Jo Durbin, and Travis Durbin.
