Services will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones, Marvin Champion officiating. Burial will follow in Whitehead Cemeteryt, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Saturday, August 13, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Sunday, August 14, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN

Mrs. Mary Katherine Mathis departed this life on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Maury Regional Hosptial in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 1 Month, 11 Days. She was born July 1, 1933 in Clifton, Tennessee the daughter of the late Andy and Jimmie Ann Stegall Turnbo. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mathis was preceded in death by husband; Tommy H. (Sonny) Mathis; brother, Leck Turnbo.



Mrs. Mary Katherine was a retired factory worker from Genesco .



She is survived by ; daughters, Rebecca (Becky) Davis and husband Jeff and Brenda Mathis of Waynesboro, TN, Beverly Sutton and husband David of Huntsville, AL; son, Tom Mathis and wife Teresa of Clifton, TN;

grandchildren; Ashlee Haggard; Cameron Davis; Shelly Billman; Bo Mathis; Tyler ;Kathryn and Ross Sutton; great grandchildren; Makohl and Madden Haggard and Brady Billman
