Mary (P.J.) Melson

MARY (P.J.) MELSON

was born in Decatur County, Tennessee on November 19, 1945 the daughter of the late Foy and Della Hunt Morris.

On September 8, 1983 she was united in marriage to Robert Melson, who preceded his wife in death on March 14, 2002.

Mary was a long haul-over the road truck driver. She lived in Hardin County most of her life and lived in Adamsville for some time. Mary loved working in ceramics and had her own ceramic shop. She also enjoyed yard work and spending time with her dogs. Mary was a member of Assembly of God in Paris, Tennessee.

She departed this life on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Saltillo, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 15 days.

Mary is survived by her two sisters, Martha Clayton of Florida and Sue Morris of Saltillo, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Dee Etheridge and Gerald Etheridge, three brothers, Gene Morris, Leon Morris and Tubby Morris and three sisters, Nina, Edna Bishop and Alma Kimbel.
