Mary Michael was born September 6, 1929 in the daughter of the late Levi and Pearl Michael.
Ms. Michael had an adventurous spirit and held a variety of jobs outside the home. She loved reading, church and visiting new places. She departed this life peacefully on January 9, 2010 at Tri- County Convalescent. She was a long standing member of the Baptist church and most recently, a member of Ramer First Baptist church. Those who knew her on earth will miss the sound of her laughter, her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eyes. She will be in God's house, surrounded by love and happiness for all eternity.
She is survived by her brother, Ross Michael of Selmer; a son, Philip Shelton and wife Susan of Byhalia, MS; three daughters, Charlotte Dickey and husband Jimmy of Stantonville, TN, Vickie Allen of Roswell, GA, Pamela Staggs of Hot Springs, AR; four grandchildren, Dylan Staggs, Dalton Staggs, Allison Smith, Sharon Horsewood; 5 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Michael was preceded in death by two brothers, Troy Michael and Mike Michael; five sisters, Edna Coleman, Jewell Western, Myrtle Tapp, Lucille Lucci and an infant sister.
