Mary Jo Gallaher Miller departed this life on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at the age of 82 years, 5 months, and 6 days. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Walter and Mattie Lou Helton Gallaher. On September 5, 1954, she was united in marriage to E.D. Miller, who survives.
Mary Jo was a member of the Green River Baptist Church and retired from Wayne County Bank as a bank teller.
In addition to her husband of almost 64 years, E. D. Miller, she is survived by her sons, Ewell Delbert "Bert" Miller, Jr. and his wife Kay of Memphis, Tennessee and Doyle Miller and his wife Kathryn of Franklin, Tennessee; sisters, Jane Hodges of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Helene Hicks of Nashville, Tennessee, Margie Griggs of Waynesboro, Tennessee, and Betty Warren of Rockton, Illinois; three grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Vince Rogers, and Stacey Rogers; three great grandchildren, Paxton Lewis, Teinley Lewis, and Jamison Miller; her sister-in-law, Louise Gallaher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by her brother, Aulton Gallaher.

Services will be held on August 29, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee.
