Mary Nell Reaves, 77, of Middleton, departed this life Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Francis A. Reaves, whom she married on May 21, 1956, she was a homemaker. She was born January 14, 1938, in Middleton, daughter of the late Walter Kirby Foster and Florence Ray Foster and lived here since 1999. She dearly loved her family and raising her children and was a Baptist in faith.
In addition to her husband, survivors include four daughters, Frances J. Perkins of Pasadena, TX, Florence Joan Chipps of Rapid City, SD, Jackie Lynn Kirk of Middleton and Jennifer Lee Reaves of Milledgeville; a son, Robert W. Reaves of New Albany, MS; a sister, Jane Velicka of Rathdrum, ID; a brother, Wallace Foster of Middleton; seven grandchildren, Shawna Tennura Byrd, Jessica Nell Hays, Jerry F. Hays, Robert Reaves, Jr., Meredith Halley Johnson, Samantha H. Perkins and Chance A. Perkins; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Ray Foster. The family requests memorial contributions in Mrs. Reaves name be made to Samaritans Purse (samaritanspurse.org) or LeBonheur Children's Medical Center (lebonheur.org)
