Mary Helen Hinson Odom

Mrs. Mary Helen Hinson Odom departed this life on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 10 Months, 10 Days. She was born December 22, 1928 in Hohenwald, TN the daughter of the late George Lankford and Alma Elizabeth Hinson.

Mrs Odom was a homemaker .

She is survived by daughter, Ruby Nell Rostas, son, Gerald Wayne Odom both of Waynesboro, TN., grandchildren, Janice Bell, James Whitehead, Jennifer Cotham, Amanda Staggs, Nickie Pope, Joseph Dugger, Sandy Joe Dugger, Wayland Lowe Jr., Rhonda Odom Davenport, Daryl Wayne Odom, great grandchildren, Christopher Treadwell, Makenzie Bell, Garrett Whitehead, Mason Whitehead, Bradlee Whitehead, Caiden Cotham, Enzlee Cotham, Sawyer Staggs, Sophie Staggs, Tyler Pope, Tanner Pope, Landon Dugger, Grayson Dugger, Carter Dugger, Zoie Dugger, Jaxon Lowe, Lila Lowe and Lydia Lowe.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Odom was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Faye Odom Whitehead, brothers, George E. Hinson, Clint Hinson, R.T. Hinson and Claude Hinson, sisters, Lois Staggs and Thelma Dutch Coble

Services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in North Highland Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Thurday, November 2, 2017, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Friday, November 3, 2017, 8:00 am unitl service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
