Mary Sue Parson

Mary Sue Parsonwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 30, 1930 the daughter of the late Willie Green and Maggie Fowler Coffman.On October 30, 1948 she was united in marriage to W.H. (Hoss) Parson, who preceded her in death on October 31, 1985.Mrs. Parson was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church. She was a wonderful cook, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.Mrs. Parson departed this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the age of 81 years, 23 days.She is survived by a daughter, Betty Gray of Counce, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Shannon Horner and husband Mark, Rusty Webb, and Chastity McLemore; 5 great grandchildren, Logan Horner, Luke Horner, Lawson Horner, Reed Webb, and Kaitlin Webb; 5 sisters, Dorothy Kiddy of Corinth, Mississippi, Joann Brooks, Virginia Coffman, Carolyn McMeans all of Counce, Tennessee and Beauton Young of Washington, Illinois.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Thornhill; 2 sisters, Mildred Meeks and June Thompson.
