Mary Louise Phillips, 78, of Bolivar, passed away Sunday night, April 10, 2011 at Northbrook Health Care in Jackson.
Mrs. Phillips was born May 9, 1932 in Hardeman County to the late Buster White and Esther Sales White and lived in Bolivar for 15 years and in Jackson for about a year. She worked at Wal-Mart in fabric sales for 14 years before retiring in 1995. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Bozza and husband, Paul of Jackson, Shirley Lambert of Adamsville; four sons, Mike Phillips of Memphis, Aubrey Phillips and wife, Susan, Wayne Phillips, all of Whiteville, Steve Phillips of Henderson; two brothers, Hugh and Don White, both of Bolivar; twelve grandchildren, Paul Bozza, Jr., Daniel Bozza, Stephanie and Christopher Lambert, Megan Barobaro, LeAnn Logan, Max and Brittany Phillips, Brandy Smith Kemp, Shannon Phillips, Ashley Ervin and Kathy Crawford; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon and Jimmy White; and a sister, Bonnie Hunsucker.
