Mary Gail Harville Pickens was born on March 19, 1945 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Harvey and Venus Rainey Harville.
Ms. Pickens retired from Franke Industries where she worked as a packer. Mary lived in Savannah, Tennessee for many years prior to moving to Smyrna, Tennessee. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Savannah and loved to sing and listen to music, especially Southern Gospel. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she loved spending time with them.
Mary Gail Harville Pickens departed this life on May 24, 2019 in Smyrna, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 2 months, and 5 days.
She is survived by her sons, Kenny Pickens and his wife Scottina of Smyrna, Tennessee and Richard Pickens of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sisters, Brenda Hobbs of McMinnville, Tennessee and Annette Matthews of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; brothers, Wilbert Harville of Savannah, Tennessee and Doyle Harville of Stantonville, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Benson.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude.
