Mary Ann Pope

Mary Ann Pope was born August 3, 1938 in Somerville, MA, the daughter of the late Henry Joseph and Mildred Miller Cadorette.

She was united in marriage to Burnice "Buddy" Pope on July 20, 1957. She had worked for McNairy County Court Clerk office, retired from the Circuit Court Clerk, and was currently working for McMahan Law Firm part time. Mrs. Pope spent a lot of her time over the years volunteering at the McNairy County Regional Hospital and at the Jack McConnico Library. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a friend to all.

Mrs. Pope departed this life on December 18, 2018 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 4 Months, 15 Days.

She is survived by her husband Burnice "Buddy" Pope; a daughter, Pamela K. West and husband Houston; a son, Mark K. Pope and wife Rowena; three grandchildren: Savanah Matlock, Daniel Mark Pope and wife Sarah, Tracy Keeton and husband Mickey; three great grandchild: Lauren Ingle and husband Lynn, Rachel Pickens, Mason Pickens; two great great grandchildren, Izzabella Ray, Adayln Ingle; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Pope; two grandchildren, Ashley Pickens, Brooke Lauren Pope; two brothers, Gerald A. Cadorette, Henry J. Cadorette.
