Union City, TN: Mary Marie Smith, age 90, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Union City Baptist Hospital after residing at the Obion County Nursing Home.
She was born June 2, 1926 on Sweetlips Road in Finger, TN.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Molene Webster Robison; two sisters, Irene Meyers and Jo Mayfield; two brothers, Hayes and Dennie Robison; ex-husband and father to her children, Raymond Smith and a grandson, Randy Nipper.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Joyce Burkeen (Jay), Regina Gray (David) and Libby King (Joe); one son, Timothy Raymond Smith (Judy), one sister, Kate Sanford (Paul); two brothers, Ray Robison (Martha Ann) and Bobby Robison (Inetha); seven grandchildren, Melanie DeVivo, Jeanine Long, Vanessa Gray, Timothy Smith, Allison Baldwin, Todd Smith and Candice Giles and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel, with John Bullman officiating. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM on Sunday at Casey Chapel.
