Mary Ellen Stewart was born July 5, 1940 in Crump, Tennessee the daughter of the late Johnny Whitfield and Hester Lucille Ganus Stewart.
Mary Ellen was a seamstress who retired from Garan Manufacturing. She was also a member of the Crump First Pentecostal Church. She also worked as a volunteer at Jesus Cares and loved gospel singing, flower gardening, and researching her family's history.
She departed this life on October 20, 2019 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 3 Months, 15 Days.
She is survived by: two sisters, Dorothy Jean Shelton of Crump, Tennessee, Wilma Roberta Zehm and husband Robert of Rogers, Arkansas; and a brother, Johnny Milo Stewart and wife Charlotte of Crump, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by: two sisters, Annie Katherine Eliff, Jannie Sue Stewart; and three brothers, Billy Robert Stewart, Max Frank Stewart, and Gilbert Joe Stewart.
