MARY SUE STOUT
Henderson, TN: Mary Sue Beard Stout age 82 passed away October 15, 2020 at NHC Healthcare at Milan, TN.
She was born May 12, 1938 at Purdy in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Carl and Sula Smith Beard. She grew up at Old Purdy and married Gilbert Stout and they made their home at Henderson. She enjoyed gardening, cooking. She enjoyed family “get togethers” Mr. Stout died in 1991.
Mrs. Stout is survived by three sons, Jimmie Ray Stout of Henderson, Frank Stout of Jackson and Ronnie Stout of Henderson; four daughters, Lettie Jo Fussell of Henderson, Betty Jo Baggett of Bethel Springs, Sandra Kay Ayers of Savannah and Teresa Ley of Milan; two stepsons, James Stout and Marion Stout both of Henderson and a stepdaughter, Betty Jo Burris of Henderson; fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gilbert Stout, two stepsons, Paul Stout and Charles Stout; three brothers, Johnny Beard, Tommy Beard and Raymond Beard and two sisters, Dorothy Beard and Betty Beard.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 19th at Old Friendship Cemetery with Bro. Paul Young officiating.
The family will receive friends at Old Friendship Cemetery beginning at 10:30 AM Monday.
