Mary Rose Stricklin

MARY ROSE YEAGER WEAVER STRICKLIN



was born in Leoma, Tennessee on July 16, 1933 the daughter of Howard Johnson and Essie Beatrice Thomas Yeager.



On March 26, 1978 she was united in marriage to Grady Lee Stricklin, who preceded her in death on October 3, 1990.



Mrs. Stricklin was a retired seamstress. She was self employed as a seamstress and retired from Kay Windsor Manufacturing. Mrs. Stricklin was talented with her hands, an amazing seamstress and piano player. God gave her a talent and she used that talent to his glory. Mrs. Stricklin was a member of Abrams United Methodist Church.



She departed this life on January 31, 2011 at Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 15 days.



Mrs. Stricklin is survived by one son, Terry Lynn Weaver and his wife Laura of Savannah, Tennessee



3 daughters, Lesa Elaine Weaver Littrell and her husband Johnny of Columbia, Tennessee, Starla Jolene Weaver Shaw and her husband Stanley of Adamsville, Tennessee and Cathy Lou Stricklin Clement and her husband Bobby of Savannah, Tennessee.



12 grandchildren, Julie Weaver, Jenifer Smith, Krystle Stanley, Candis Littrell, Cassie Cummings, Tera Casteel, Jessica Weaver, Sheena Hudson, Philip Gary Weaver, Justin Weaver, Gina Wilder and Sydnee Shaw



9 great grandchildren, Kaylee DePriest, Molly White, John Smith, Jacob Smith, Madison Weaver, Marcie Tatum Casteel, Talyn Casteel, Jacob Dale and Chloe Dale



2 sisters-in law, Cherry Yeager of Athens, Alabama, Louise Yeager of Leoma, Tennessee and Martha Yeager of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.



In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Anthony Keith Weaver and Gary Douglas Weaver, one sister, Evelyn Sides and 4 brothers, Joe, Jim, Charlie and Seth Yeager.
