Mary Jane Terry was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 3, 1941, the daughter of the late Jack and Carrie Milligan. On May 7, 1972 she was united in marriage to Douglas Terry, who survives.
She was a member of Childers Hill Pentecostal Church and a retired seamstress who enjoyed reading and spent much time in prayer.
Mrs. Terry departed this life on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 25 days.
Aside from her husband, Douglas of Michie, Tennessee, Mrs. Terry is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Jane Cummings and her husband Melvin Ray of Savannah, Tennessee and Jimmie Darlene Henson of Michie, Tennessee; one son, Jacky Dan Hollins, and his wife Tammy, of Savannah, Tennessee; one stepdaughter, Linda Yochem of Warrenton, Virginia; six grandchildren, Justin Hollins, Ashton Cummings, Haley Powell, Jocelyn Henson, Chelsea Thomas, and Nathaniel Henson; two step grandchildren, Brandon Warner and Bridgett Hall; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Hollins and Azula Cummings; and three step great grandchildren, Kaycee Warner, Aiden Smith, and Brianna Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
