Services for Mary Charlene Pollock Throgmorton will be Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2011 from 5:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 8:00 AM until service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro.A native of Lawrence County, she was born August 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Bee and Eunice Coker Pollock. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Throgmorton was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Milburn Throgmorton; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at her home in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 7 Months, 6 Days. Mrs. Throgmorton, a homemaker, was a member of Crieve Hall Church of Christ.She is survived by sons, Steve Throgmorton and David Throgmorton both of Nashville, TN; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Richard, James, Diane, Steven, and Beth; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Krauch of Memphis, TN,Shirley Holman of St. Joseph, TN, and Jimmie Lee McGee of Westpoint, TN;and nieces and nephews.
