Mary Elaine Wallace

Mary Elaine Wallace was born in Henderson, Tennessee on October 4, 1946, the daughter of the late JW and Mary Imogene Guyon Stanford. On December 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to Jimmy Wallace, who survives.

Mary Elaine was a pastor’s wife for several years and a member of New Testament Independent Baptist Church. She enjoyed serving others and loved her family and grandchildren without fail. For over 20 years she worked as a field interviewer for RTI until she retired from the company. She was also a hairdresser and enjoyed sewing.

Mary Elaine Wallace departed this life on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the age of 74 years, 11 months, and 6 days.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Jimmy Wallace of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by a daughter, Candice Wilcoxson and her husband Tim of Leoma, Tennessee; grandchildren, Paige Yingling and her husband Joe, Samuel Wilcoxson, and Paxley Wilcoxson, all of Leoma, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Ayden Yingling and Alice Yingling, both of Leoma, Tennessee; and a sister, Cheryl Parrott of Milledgeville, Tennessee.
