Mary White

Mary White departed this life on November 1, 2014 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 3 Months, 27 Days. She was born on July 5, 1947 in Lauderdale County, Alabama, the daughter of the late John and Liddie Chaney Melson.

She was united in marriage to Dock White on August 5, 1961, who survives.

Mrs. White has lived most of her life in Hardin County. She was employed as a Bar Tacker at Angelica Manufacturing for 27 years. She enjoyed cooking and reading her Bible often. She was a believer of the Full Gospel faith and enjoyed spending time with and helping her family.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by two sons, Marty White and his wife, Jana, of Savannah, Tennessee, and Tommy White of Savannah, Tennessee; two sisters, Margaret Kay and Becky Grady, both of Savannah, Tennessee; two brothers, John Larry Melson and Randy Melson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; one half-brother, Jeff Melson of Savannah, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Tyler Martin White, Carson Dean White, and Lindsey Nicole White.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Terry White; and one brother, Ronnie Melson.
