MARY S. YOUNG
was born in Colima, Mexico on November 20, 1942 the daughter of the late Vicente Ramirez-Reyes and Maria de Jesus-Garcia de Ramirez.
She was united in marriage to Herbert Alton Young, who preceded his wife in death on December 20, 2003.
Before moving to Savannah, Tennessee Mrs. Young lived in Kansas for over 16 years. She was a member of Soul's Harvest Church of God and Savannah Church of God Prophecy. Prior to her retirement, Mary worked as a CNA for Hardin County Health and Rehabilitation Center and as a part-time translator for Hardin Medical Center. She was a very giving and kind person, always helping everyone, young and old. She had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone in need. She enjoyed reading her Bible and being around nature. She loved growing all kinds of different plants and was an excellent gardener. Her family was most important to her and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Young departed this life on June 19, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 30 days.
She is survived by her two sons, Roland Young and his wife Renee of Ashland City, Tennessee and Kerby Young and his wife Regina of Port St. Joe, Florida; five grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, Marcus, Melissa and Matthew; two sisters, Alicia and Letiza and two brothers, Pepe Raul and Enrique.
