Maryla Ann Powell Gulley

Memorial services for Maryla Ann Powell Gulley, 76, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Adamsville, TN. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Ms. Gulley died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at St. David’s Hospital in Georgetown, TX.

Maryla was a mother and grandmother who lived a life of selflessness. She was also a Retail Sales Associate with Wal-Mart for over 37 years in Tennessee and Texas, and she was passionate about helping children through charities such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Maryla was preceded in death by her son Coleman Gulley; and her parents M. A. and Mary Lee Smith Powell. Survivors include two daughters Marla Gulley Rogers and husband Brian of Madison, MS and Melissa Gulley Davis and husband Ryan of Salem, OR; four grandchildren: Kimberly Rogers and Keith Rogers of Madison, MS and Gabrielle Davis and Justin Davis of Salem, OR; and a brother, Charles Powell of Charlotte, NC.
