Matthew Lynn Nelms of Middleton departed this life at the age of 1 month and 4 days Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was born in Jackson on May 12, 2012 to his parents, Kevin Lynn and Brittany Gail Faries Nelms, who survive. He is also survived by three sisters, Kaileigh Marie Tillmon, Morgan Grace Nelms and Brooklynn Nicole Nelms, all of Middleton; maternal grandparents, Vicki Gail McClaughlin and Phillip Douglas McClaughlin of Middleton; paternal grandfather, William Earl Nelms of Ripley, MS; seven uncles, Jason Earl Nelms, Christopher Lee Herman, William Keith Nelms, Shawn Curtis Nelms, Jason Nathaniel Barber, Nicolas Dale Faries and Christopher Douglas Stewart, all of Middleton; three aunts, Denise Louise Burger, Amanda Shae Timmons and Candy Herman, all of Middleton; and three cousins, William Wayne Nelms, Emma Shae Callie Barber and Payton Lee Herman, all of Middleton.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Deborah Elaine Nelms; and a great-grandmother, Fannie Doyle.
