Mattie Brown

Mattie Frazier Brown of Waynesboro, TN was born September 25, 1928 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Georgie and Mary Mathis Frazier. She was united in marriage to Thomas Elvin Brown and he preceded her in death on October 3, 1986.Mrs. Brown was a retired assembly line worker at Lincoln Brass Works and was of the protestant faith.Mrs. Brown departed this life on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 11 Months, 8 Days.She is survived by son, Daryl Brown and wife, Margaret of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Christy Butler, Brandon Brown, Matthew Brown, and Dakota Brown; great-grandchildren, Dalton Butler, Jessica, Garrard, and Jayden Brown; a sister, Eva York of Waynesboro, TN.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by a son, Keith Brown; two brothers, William (Sonny) Frazier and R. T. Frazier. Services will be Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jerry L. Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayneboro, TN directing.
