Mattie Thompson Whitehead

Mattie Thompson Whitehead was born August 12, 1947 in Waynesboro, Tennessee the daughter of the late Virgil and Martha Lorene Stults Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Leon Hill, James Hill, Marshall Hill; and sister, Juanita Hill. She died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Trinity Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 63 Years, 6 Months, 24 Days. She was formerly employed at Brown Shoe Co. in Savannah.She is survived by her companion, Jerry Whitehead;two daughters, Angela Copeland and husband Roy and Juanita Copeland and husband Chris all of Lutts, TN; a son, Buddy Smith and wife Debbie of Waynesboro, TN; six grandchildren, Charlie Whitehead, Roy Copeland Jr., Adam Copeland, Josh Copeland, Angela Carroll, and Christy Copeland; two brothers, Roger D. Hill and John E. Hill both of Waynesboro, TN; two sisters, Mary Sue Hintz and husband Wes of Grand Rapids, MI and Nadine Fredenburg and husband Ron of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters-in-law, Lois Dewalle of Lawrenceburg, TN and Joyce Hill of Waynesboro, TN.several nieces and nephews
