Mr. Max Lambert, age 65 of Toone, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday Morning, June 4, 2014 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Mr. Lambert was born in Bolivar June 13, 1948 to the late Gaston and Helen Jones Lambert. On October 25, 1985, he was united in marriage to Linda Lambert, who survives. He lived in Memphis for many years prior to returning to Hardeman County in 2001. He was a member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship in Bolivar and, among his hobbies, enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Shirley Dickson of Lewisville, Arkansas, Carley Kent of Brighton, and Elisa Kent of Mumford; a son, Bobby Lambert of Marianna, Arkansas; two step-children, David Strain, Jr. of Toone and Toby Strain of Olive Branch, Mississippi; a sister, Star Parson of Marianna, Arkansas; two brothers, Barron Lambert of Emerson, Arkansas, and John Lambert of Hughes, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Linda Johnson.
Donations made in Mr. Lambert's memory may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the American Stroke Association.
