MAXINE MCNATT

Jackson, TN: Maxine Lucille Lewis McNatt age 103, passed away March 20, 2023, at Oak Haven Assisted Living, Huron, TN.

She was born January 21, 1920 in Henderson, TN the daughter of the late Gus and Lucille Foster Lewis. She grew up and attended school in Henderson. She married Ross Lee McNatt in her mid-twenties, and they made their home in Jackson. He preceded her in Dec. 1969.   

She was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church in Jackson.

She worked for Bell South Telecommunications as operator and clerk, retiring after forty-four and a half years. She than worked part-time at Big Lots in Jackson. She also was a volunteer at Jackson General Hospital for many years.    

Mrs. McNatt is survived by Martha Skaggs of Oklahoma City, OK and several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ross McNatt; two brothers, Joe Foster Lewis and Billy Lewis and three sisters, Dorothy Davis, Mary Emma Rouse and Ann Beckworth.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 22^nd at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Pastor Paul Riddle officiating. Burial will follow at Henderson City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM service time on Wednesday.
