Maxine McCluskey Ward

January 14, 1930 — December 26, 2014

Maxine McCluskey Ward was born on January 14, 1930 in Waterloo, Alabama, the daughter of the late J. H. and Matilda McCluskey.

Maxine was married to Jamie Ross Ward of Waterloo, Alabama on January 15, 1947.

She was employed at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home as a licensed practical nurse in the past.

She was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her four children: Larry Wayne Ward and wife, Sharon, of Azle, Texas, Jackie Ward of Waterloo, Alabama, Mary Ann Ward Gean and her husband, Dannie, of Savannah, Tennessee, and Jerry Lynn Ward, Sr. and his wife, Barbara, of Florence, Alabama;

two sisters: Josie Rogers of International Falls, Minnesota and Iva McClure of Burke, Virginia;

eleven grandchildren;

and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years;

her grandson Tim Gean;

and a sister, Estelle Dennis of Savannah, Tennessee.
