Mealie Lorene Daniel Moore of Cypress Inn, TN was born January 27, 1921 in Iron City, TN, the daughter of the late Jim Taylor and Belle Thompson Daniel. She was united in marriage to Clyde E. Moore on January 6, 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 12, 1994.
Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and departed this life on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 4 Months, 22 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn S. Pigg and husband, Joel of Cypress Inn, TN; grandchildren, Randy Pigg and wife, Sally, Greg Pigg and wife, Michelle, Melissa Pigg Berry and husband, David; great-grandchildren, Tyler Pigg, Taylor Pigg, Macie Pigg, Hayden Berry, Bailey Pigg, Carlie Berry, Landon Pigg; a brother, Robert Daniel of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Lura Daniel of Lawrenceburg, TN, Dean Robertson and husband, Andy of Iron City, TN, Earlene Gambrell and husband, Russell of Iron City, TN, Lois Brewer of Iron City, TN, Barbara Moore and husband, Charles of Iron City, TN; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by brothers, Lester Daniel, Leslie Daniel, J.R. Daniel, and Edward Daniel.
Services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks and Junior Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Randy, Greg, Tyler and Landon Pigg and David and Hayden Berry.
