Melba A. Battle

Melba A. Kendrick Battle was born September 12, 1922 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Emmett and Hattie Browder Kendrick.Mrs. Battle was retired from the Wal-Mart in Lexington, TN. She was a member of the United Methodist church in Lexington, Tennessee. Mrs. Battle departed this life on October 27, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 1 Month, 15 Days. She is survived by niece, Janice Grantham of Selmer, TN; great niece, Janiece Rowland of Bethel Springs, TN; great nephew, Jerry Grantham of Selmer, TN; 2 great great nieces and 1 great great nephew.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Battle was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Battle.
