Melba D. Cody, 82, of Memphis, died July 3, 2006 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis.
She was a supervisor of communications at Goldsmith's for 35 years and a member of Macon Road Presbyterian Church.
Graveside services were 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Bolivar Memorial Cemetery with Roger Wade officiating.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda White of Hickory Valley and Barbara Wallace of Bryan, Texas; one son, Frederick Mahr of Bartlett; one step-son, James Mahr of Augusta, Georgia; one sister, Myrtle Lockamy of Bladenboro, NC; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
