Melburn Parrish Connor was born January 20, 1921 in Chester County, Tennessee the son of the late Isaac Parrish and Delsie Inez Hodge Connor.
He was united in marriage to Cleo Eell, they made their home in Chester County where he farmed and operated a dairy farm. Mr Connor was a WWII Army veteran, a member of the Chester County Lions Club, the VFW, Gideons and a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
Mr. Connor departed this life on October 18, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 8 Months, 28 Days.
He is survived by his wife Cleo Connor of Henderson,a daughter, Glenda Jewell and husband Bill of Henderson, ; four brothers, Carroll Connor of Henderson, , Pat Connor and wife Faye of Henderson, , Paul Connor and wife Jean of Ashland City, , Pug Connor and wife Judy of Nashville, ; four sisters, Shirley Harvey and husband Nelson of Henderson, , Nellie Rouse of Henderson, , Mary Dale Gilchrist and husband Joe of Henderson, , Wilma Adcock of Jackson, ; four grandchildren, Amber (Jewell) Guthrie and husband John, Art Jewell, Steven Connor, Mary Beth (Connor) Miller and husband Chris; two great grandchildren, Mary Kathryn Miller, Emma Grace Miller;
In addition to his parents, Mr. Connor was preceded in death by a son, Roger Connor; brothers Kent Connor, Gene Connor and Thomas Connor
