Melvin Ira Cole

Melvin Ira Colewas born in Lafayette, Indiana on September 3, 1940 the son of the late Elmer R. and Lula Mae Green Cole.On November 13, 2000 he was united in marriage to Terri Gray, who survives.Mr. Cole had worked as a Truck Driver and a Security Guard before retiring. He departed this life on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the age of 71 years, 6 months, 20 days.He is survived by his wife, Terri Cole of Crump, Tennessee; a son, Donald Keith Cole of Lafayette, Indiana; a daughter, Holly Cole of Lafayette, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Sherry Liford of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Savanna Liford.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Cole.
