Melvin Holland

Melvin Holland was born June 6, 1923 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late E.C. and Sula Plunk Holland. He was united in marriage to Eathel Gazelle Walker on June 12, 1945. Mrs. Holland preceded him in death on October 30, 2007 He was a W.W.II Veteran of the Army Air Force. Mr. Holland was Sergeant with the Tennessee Highway Patrol , serving 25 years. He was also a member of the Pentecostals of Henderson.He is survived by two daughters, Melinda O\'Donnell and husband Michael of Roanoke, Va., Glenda Baker and husband Donald of Henderson, TN; two sons, Stanley Holland and wife Joan of Jackson, TN, Ralph Holland and wife Donna of Dallas , Tx. two brothers, Cleo Holland and wife Grace of Jackson, Tn, Perry Holland and wife Frances of Savannah, Tn,10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
