Melvin D. Price

Melvin D. Price was born November 24, 1931 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Arvy D. and Ollie Smith Price.He was united in marriage to Joyce Raines on November 22, 1952.Mr. Price was a tool and die engineer for 12 years at Trico Industries in Lexington, TN. Prior to working at Trico, he was employed for 26 years at Ripley Industries in Adamsville, TN. Mr. Price served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Aldersgate Methodist Church in Memphis, Tennessee.Mr. Price departed this life on December 8, 2007 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 14 Days. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce (Raines) Price of Memphis, TN; three daughters: Lisa Reynolds and husband Adrian of Bartlett, TN, Sherry Jacobi and husband Dave of Memphis, TN and Cindy Hester of Bartlett, TN; a sister, Quinice Tull and husband Leo of Selmer, TN; three brothers: Ernest Price and wife Betty of Selmer, TN, Larry Price of Selmer, TN and John Price and wife Maggie of Selmer, TN; and five grandchildren: Winter McBrien and husband Chris, Nathan Reynolds, Devin Reynolds, Savanna Jacobi and Mason Hester. In addition to his parents, Mr. Price was preceded in death by an infant brother.
