Melvin Russom of Finger, TN was born November 2, 1931 in Bethel Springs, TN the son of the late Claude and Mildred N. Cox Russom. He was a retired mechanic.
During his lifetime, Mr. Russom worked at Brown Shoe Company in Selmer, was a supervisor at the McNairy County Highway Department, and had worked in the parts department of the former Ford dealership in Selmer. He was a member of Selmer Second Baptist Church. He loved his family, enjoyed farming, and caring for his dogs, cows, and other animals. Mr. Russom departed this life on March 3, 2016 in Jackson, TN at the age of 84 Years, 4 Months, 1 Day.
He is survived by two daughters, Denice Weatherly of Finger, TN, Stacey Reynolds also of Finger; two grandchildren, Jason Weatherly, Brooklynn Lute; a sister, Marain Ray of Selmer, TN and a host of extended family and friends.
