Melvin Eugene Wallis

Melvin Eugene Wallis was born December 1, 1941 in Rienzi, MS the son of the late Guy Clifton and Hildreth Swindle Wallis. He was united in marriage to his longtime companion Inas Jean Jarnigan on August 26, 2013. Mr. Wallis was retired from East-West Trucking Company. He was Pentecostal in faith.
Mr. Wallis departed this life on July 29, 2016 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 7 Months, 28 Days. He is survived by his wife Inas Jean Jarnigan Wallis of Bethel Springs, TN; four sons: Joe, Jeff, Tim and Jason Wallis; two brothers, Stephen Wallis of Booneville, MS and Robert Wallis of Ramer, TN; a sister, Ann Lewis of MO; and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wallis was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Wallis; two brothers, William and Sammy Wallis.
